1. What are cookies?

A cookie is a file downloaded to your computer, smartphone, tablet or similar device when you access certain web pages. Among other things, cookies allow information about a user's or their device's browsing habits to be stored and retrieved and, depending on the information they contain and how the device is used, they may be used to recognise the user.

The user's browser stores cookies on the hard drive only for the current session, taking up minimal memory and without harming the computer. Cookies do not contain any specific personal information, and most are deleted from the hard drive when the browser session ends (so-called session cookies).

2. What types of cookies does this website use and for what purposes?

The following types of cookies may be installed on this website:

2.1. Technical cookies (exempt from consent)

These cookies are strictly necessary to allow communication between your device and the network, or to provide a service you have expressly requested. Because of their technical nature they do not require your consent, but they are listed below for transparency.

2.2. Cookies requiring consent

To install and use the following cookies we need your express consent, as they are not strictly necessary for the operation of our website and/or may collect data for non-exempt purposes.

a) Preference or functional cookies: These allow information to be remembered so that you access the service with certain characteristics that may differentiate your experience from that of other users, such as language or preferences.

On this site, this category includes the cookies of the embedded Google Maps map in the contact section, which is only loaded if you accept.

b) Analytics or measurement cookies: These allow the controller to monitor and analyse your behaviour as a user, including quantifying the impact of ads. The information collected is used to measure website, application or platform activity in order to make improvements based on usage data. They require your consent.

c) Behavioural advertising cookies: These store information about your behaviour obtained through continuous observation of your browsing habits, allowing a specific profile to be built to show advertising accordingly. They require your consent.

This website currently does not use behavioural advertising cookies.

Third-party cookie providers: This website uses cookies belonging to third parties, i.e. files sent to the user's device from a domain or device managed by a third party other than the website owner.

The providers of these cookies are listed below, with a link to their cookie policies:

  • Google: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
  • Vercel: https://vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy

3. How is your consent obtained?

Your consent to the use of non-exempt cookies (functional, analytics and advertising) is obtained through a clear affirmative action on the initial banner shown when you access our website. This means you must click "Accept all" or "Configure" and save your preferences. Mere inactivity or continued browsing will not be considered valid consent. Consent must be granular, freely given, specific, informed and given by a clear affirmative action, in accordance with art. 4.11 GDPR and the AEPD cookie guide.

4. How to configure or withdraw your consent

You can accept, configure or reject cookies at any time. To do so, you can:

i. Access the Cookie Settings Panel: We have set up a cookie management system of our own, developed specifically for this website, easily accessible from the initial banner and from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. In this panel you can:

  1. Accept or reject cookies granularly, at least by purpose (functional, analytics, advertising).
  2. Save your cookie preferences.
  3. Withdraw any consent previously given. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

ii. Through your browser settings: You can also manage cookies through your web browser settings. However, this is not the main method for withdrawing or giving consent under our policy. Some examples:

  • Google Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
  • Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enable-and-disable-cookies-website-preferences
  • Safari: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201265
  • Microsoft Edge: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027947/microsoft-edge-delete-cookies

5. Transfers of data to third countries

Since some cookies used on our website belong to third parties, the data collected may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area. Specifically, Google LLC and Vercel Inc. are based in the United States and are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which has an adequacy decision from the European Commission. To learn about the safeguards and legal basis for such transfers, and whether risks exist, we recommend consulting each provider's privacy and cookie policy at the links above.

6. Profiling

This website does not use behavioural advertising cookies or build user profiles. Should they be introduced in the future, profiling for behavioural advertising generally does not involve automated decisions with significant legal effects for the user, and your consent will be requested beforehand.

7. Updates to the Cookie Policy

We may update the Cookie Policy of our Website. We recommend reviewing this policy each time you access our Website to stay properly informed about how and why we use cookies. Any change in the purposes of cookie use or in the third parties using them will require new consent.

For information about your data protection rights and other aspects of the processing of your data, see our Privacy Policy and Legal Notice.
